Mudsprings May 2009 |
![]() L-R Macinyart(Jack), then almost hidden, Kevin, Christine, Skeeter (Stacey) and finally Rubiding(David) Disclaimer. Jack's son in law Kyle Edlund took almost 400 pictures on the trip and is pictured in only one. Part of the delay in getting this site up, about two months late was the difficulty in choosing which of the excellent images to include. Finally I just started loading pictures with the idea that I could change them out as time permits. Rubiding is driving a Rubicon with a black brush guard and round headlights. The other white jeep is a YJ, Macinyart, with rectangular headlights and no brush guard. Skeeter, of course, is in the red jeep. |
The trip plan was to drive the Mudsprings trail located toward
Payson off the Beeline.. We
met at the Shell station on Shea Blvd, near the Beeline at about 0830.
We figured it would take the better part of the day and it did. Skeeter was tasked with "Leader" and Rubiding volunteered for "Tailgun" position. Macinyart rode along in the middle. He was planning to learn from Skeeter's choice of lines. It worked. The photographer for almost all these photos was Kyle Edlund, Jack's son-in-law, visiting from Woodbury, MN. Kevin has a new Rubicon and wanted to ride shotgun with Skeeter and Rubiding through the day before he exposed his new Rubi to the rocks. Good choice. Kyle was riding passenger with Jack. |
